Drama - Doing Mask

1. The first thing that we do is putting together everything that we need to do
2. Decide which thing that we need to design our mask
3. I put the oil on the original mask because otherwise the your mask is going to stick on an original one
4. If you want your mask looks nice you should use a white paper or a toilet paper
5. We used glue to stick the white paper on the mask
6. We don't want any gaps or holes so we used water and put more paper on it
7. If you finish doing your mask you should rap it
8. When your mask has done you need to paint it in a nice and beautiful way.

Ideas

What does an ideal world look like in your mind?
I would like to see people free from sickness and free from violence and also I want people to respect others as they want others to respect them. Our world will be good if we work together as one team and one group.

What could you do to make it a reality?
I am going to give people advice and we need to clean our environment to clear the diseases that face people right now

Why was the treaty needed?

Introduction
In 1830 there were estimated 100k Māori and 100 Europeans living in New Zealand. The behaviour of the Whalers,
the Missionaries’ desire to help protect Māori rights and the Musket Wars were reasons that a treaty was needed.
The Declaration of Independence was another contributing factor to the need for a treaty.

Paragraph One (Lawyer)
One reason that a treaty was needed was the lawless behaviour of some of the British Settlers like whalers. Around
1830 in New Zealand there were 1000 of the British Settlers but many of them were Whalers. The Whalers were
from many countries include France, America and Australia but the majority were from British.  They spend more
time on the sea while they sailing and travel to other countries. There were many problems that face to them while
they are on the sea. The biggest bought in New Zealand at that time was Kororareka also known as Russell. When
the treaty was signed the Maori got some jobs on the ship and they also got money from their work. The whalers
were also the one that protect and save Maori land and people. The second group of Europeans to arrive were the
sealers and whalers who were first recorded to have visited NZ around 1791. Initially the sealers were the most
active but by 1830, with significantly reduced seal numbers, sealing and declined to a low level. Whale oil was a
commodity, which was in a great demand.

Paragraph Two (Lawyer)
Another reason that a treaty was needed was to protect Māori rights. One group that felt strongly about this was
the missionaries. The missionaries were the one that teach Maori into the religion not only the religion but they
also teach them how to produce and plant food for themselves. In 1840 around 3000 convection to Christianity in
the Bay of Island Area. In this paragraph  am trying to prove that the missionaries is another best thing and is
another important part in Maori’s life, because the missionaries change some of Maori’s lives and without
missionaries they can’t get food and love one another. There was one thing that the missionaries were worried
because many Maori were killed by slaves and takeover Maori’s land, missionaries were the one that solve those
problems. The first missionaries Marsdan favoured teaching the Maori useful skills and agriculture to encourage them
to convert to Cristianity. He was so successful that he transformed the traditional economy of the Bay Islands
and laid the foundations for New Zealand agriculture. Henry Williams agreed to the government’s request to use all
his influence among the chiefs to induce them to make the desired surrender of sovereignty to her Majesty by
signing the Treaty of Waitangi.

Paragraph Three (Hammer)
Another reason that a treaty was needed was the Musket Wars. The Musket Wars were a series of as many as
3000 battles and raid fought throughout New Zealand among Maori between 1807 and 1837 after Maori obtained
muskets and then engaged in an intertribal arms race in order to gain territory or seek revenge for past defeats. The
musket wars were the one that bought the musket in Maori. Up until the arrival of the European, Maori thought there
were traditional weapons such as A Taiaha and Mere while these weapons were fares enough the introduction of the
musket around the century change everything. Between 1818 and the early 1830s, thousand of Maori were killed in
a series of conflicts of the Musket Wars.
Many more were enslaved or became refugees. Although estimates vary, more deaths may have been caused by
these conflicts than the 18000 New Zealand lives lost in the First World War. There is a disadvantage of the  musket
o because there was a day that Britain use musket to kill Maori’s slave and Maori people.

Paragraph Four (The Slam Dunk)
The final reason that a treaty was needed was the existence of the Declaration of Independence. What was the
purpose of the Declaration of Independence? The purpose of the  Declaration of Independence was to explain to the
whole world why the thirteen British colonies were seeking to start their own country. The Declaration of Independence
signifies some of the principles and ideas of the founding fathers which the government of the United States follows
today. The Declaration explains why the colonies should break away from Britain. It says that people have rights that
cannot be taken away, lists the complaints against the king, and argues that the colonies have to be free to protect
the colonists’ rights. At the bottom of the document, the delegates signed their name. The first impact of the
Declaration of Independence was making colonists proud and unified them in their determination, second was it
brought France into the war on the side of the colonists, third it made the war more difficult because the British were
angry.

Conclusion (Robust Conclusion)
In conclusion, a treaty was needed because to establish a British Governor of New Zealand, consider Maori ownership of their lands and other properties, and give Maori the rights of British subjects. There are 4 main reasons for this treaty which is, Whalers, missionaries, the musket wars and the declaration of independence. So everything that we need to know is done and it explain above to each of the paragraphs. The Treaty of Waitangi is the founding document of New Zealand. Maori agreed: to let other people live in their country; and let the British make rules about behaviour and see that everyone behaves him. Reasons why chiefs signed the treaty included wanting controls on sales of Maori land to Europeans settlers. So in my knowledge Maori chief were right for signing the treaty because without treaty everything is getting worse.

Volcano

                                🌋VOLCANO🌋

What is a Volcano?

Volcanoes are some of the most interesting features in Earth, they are basically ruptures in the Earth's crust which allow magma to flow upwards. If you want to understand volcanoes, you have to understand tectonics. The surface of our planet is not one big piece  - it is broken into 17 major, rigid tectonic plates, that move one in relationship to the other. These tectonic plates "float" on a hotter, softer layer in the Earth's mantle. When that very hot and viscous layer comes up towards the surface its called "magma". Volcanoes on Earth are generally located in areas where the tectonic plates diverge or converge with each other. It's easy to understand if you look at a world map with the plate tectonics and volcanoes.

Types of volcanoes
Basically volcanoes only form where there's a way for the magma ti migrate towards the surface - such as plate discontinuity or an area where the crust is very thin. There are also so - called "hotspot" - areas where the underlying mantle is much hotter than in other areas, either due to mantle plumes or lithospheric extension ( its not clear yet which of the two theories is correct ). Examples of hotspots include Hawaii and the Portuguese island of Madeira, but for the most part, volcanoes lie at the edge of tectonic plates.

Why does the magma rice to the surface?
The key word here is buoyancy. Magma is very hot, and therefore less dense than the surrounding rocks it simply rises due to a difference in buoyancy. This lighter magma rises toward the surface, and when its density is lower than the surrounding rocks, it flows towards the surface. But when the magma reaches the surface, another interesting thing happens.

magma volcano

If the magma contains volatile elements ( water and/or gases ), when it reaches the surface, these volatiles will suddenly expand into steam and gas, causing a violent eruption. This tends to happen a lot of the magma is more acidic ( has a higher silica content ), with more basic magmas, there is usual a continuous, steady flow ( like in Hawaii )

So now that we know what a volcano is and why it forms, let's take a moment to "dissect one"

3 Types of Volcanoes

1. Stratovolcano

Stratovolcano consists of many layers (strata) of hardened lava, tephra, pumice, and volcanic ash. They generally have steeps slopes and are the most common type of volcanoes on Earth. However,, we haven't been able to find composite volcanoes anywhere else in the solar system, which the exception of Mars. These are the Hollywood volcanoes, the ones you see in all the movies.

Stratovolcano

They tend to form at subduction zones (where one tectonic plate is sliding beneath the other - the oceanic plate beneath the continental plate). Their eruptions are typically explosive and effusive; the magma is generally rich in volatiles because the magma rises as water trapped both in hydrated minerals and porous basalt rock of the upper oceanic crust is released into mantle rock of the asthenosphere above the sinking oceanic slab. This release of water pushes the magma towards the surface. The chemical composition of the magma is intermediate because it incorporates both basic (from the oceanic plate) and acidic minerals (from the continental plate)

2. Cinder Cone Volcano

cinder cone volcano

A cinder cone volcano is simply a steep conical hill of tephra (volcanic debris) that accumulates around and downwind from a volcanic vent. The cinder cone are made from pyroclastic material, which is pretty loose. Cinder cones are commonly found on the flanks of shield volcanoes and stratovolcanoes. Some Cinder cone are different than others, in that they only erupt once. However, even the ones that do erupt typically have a lower impact than stratovolcanoes.

3. Shield Volcano

A shield volcano is a type of volcano usually built almost entirely of fluid lava flows. They have very gentle slopes and are very developed horizontally. These are the classical Hawaii examples - steady flow and accumulation of lava leading to the shield - type formation. Mauna Loa a shield volcano on the pisland of Hawaii, is the largest single mountain in the world, rising over 30,000 feet above the ocean floor reaching almost 100 miles across at its base.

Shield volcanoes are built by effusive eruptions, which flow out in all directions. They almost never have violent eruptions, with basic lava simply flowing out. Although the term is generally ascribed to basaltic shields it has times been appended to rarer scutiform volcanoes of differing magmatic composition.
Most of what we know today about shield volcanoes comes from the study of the volcanoes in Hawaii. Hawaii lava generally has very high temperatures and low volatiles, and have many lava tubes. In Madeira (Portugal), the volcano is no longer active at the surface, and you can actually walk through the former lava tunnels

These are the main types of volcanoes.

      Zombie Makeup
Image result for halloween makeup
The picture above shows that she is a real a zombie so she use make up to draw and she pretend that she is a zombie for the halloween. She use the hair colour to paint her hair and etc... As we see those kind of makeup its really scary.
You can apply the makeup recover and wash as much of the paint of your face as you can. If there is any residue left behind afterwards, apply a thick layer of shaving cream to your face and massage it into your skin. Wipe it off a washcloth or tissue and the cream should lift the stains from your skin.
Typically the problem with corn syrup based fake blood is that it will stain everything in sight.. hair, skin, cloth, shoes floors,etc.... We've also got some tips for how to get fake blood out of our clothes when it's corn-syrup based, but please be aware that there are situations where the stain simply will not come out.

What can i use for fake blood on clothes?
Mix three parts corn syrup thoroughly with one part water in a large bowl. Put on gloves if desired, red food coloring can dye skin. Drip a couple of drops of res food coloring into the mixture while stirring continuously.

How do you make a fake cut easy?
Smear red eyeliner onto your skin draw a line onto the area where you want the fake cut then smudge it with your finger. Draw on the wound, sharpen your red eyeliner pencil. Add darker colours (optional).

REFLECTION
HALLOWEEN

When we plan for halloween we use scary sounds and we set many scary things around and the at the back of the stage. We use the piano for making the sound more scary. We put decorations in the middle of the stage to make the audience surprise and more scary. We put skeleton to make the doorway more scary if the people walk in they fell surprise when they see those things. The floor pattern was like dead people laying on the ground, so we put clothes on the stage, so it makes like dead people are on the stage, so that is our floor pattern we did. Our body and our face very scary and it can make you feel sick and had a night mares we do makeup and many things in our face. We didn't did our normal voices to make the people scare we did spooky voice and something that you should know it makes people scared of you.
